Hi all

Bit of a basic newbie-type question this - sorry...

We are currently run a split database originally developed on Access 2000
IIRC.
It is now running with the back end on our file/print server Win Server 2008
R2 and the front end on 32 bit XP machines running Office 2003.

Will there be any issues running the front end on 64bit Win 7 PCs under
Access in Office 2010 Pro?

TIA

Phil

We do *NOT* expect you to every be sorry to ask questions no matter
how basic/newbie you feel it might be. And indeed your question is
not in that category anyhow.

There will likely be some ribbon related issues. I think Allen
Browne's site www.allenbrowne.com has soom good info on the various
issues.

Thanks Tony

Looks like this ribbon business could cause issues.
Some of the forms in our database use the default binoculars find-record
button.
It appears that this no longer works, but having looked at Allen Browne's
site and on-line help, I am none-the-wiser about the 2007/2010 replacement.
I'll start a new thread for help with locating this.
