Update Query sent by Email from Access2010/Outlook2010

I got this to work once but now always get an error message saying that
Outlook failed to send the email to some recipients (1) Invalid email
address (2) there was no data associated with email address. I dont
understand at all - my test was to send to my own email
mervyn-***@ntlworld.com but it does'nt work with others either. It's
from a simple contacts database and intended to update the data.

I answered this myself in case others want to know.
It did not work because the query did not have an index field in the table!
