I found lines and shapes under Insert > Shapes. It contains various lines,
rectangles, etc. I guess the old drawing tool bar is gone for good. Most of
any drawing done in Word is only going to be lines and rectangles. I found
other helpful information by going to the Help (the white question mark in
the blue background circle to the far fight of the ribbon), then entering
Drawing and cliccking Search. I didn't know what the question mark was, I
had not been able to find "HELP" on the ribbon.
Post by gls858Post by TScottYes, you can Customize the Quick Access Tool bar, but this only adds specific
commands to that one and only tool bar. Picking the "All Commands" option of
this, I can see some of the specific drawing commands, but I would like to
add the entire drawing set of commands as one tool bar as could be done in
2003 version. 2007 now has a "Ribbon" containing the old Standard toolbar
commands. This Ribbon can be minimized, but I don't see any way to add
addtional tool bars.
Post by EviCan't you right click on the toolbar and go to Customize any more?

Post by TScottHow do you turn on the drawing tool bar in Word 2007, Excel 2007 and
PowerPoint 2007?
Click on Help in Excel and search on drawing toolbar. You should see a
selection titled: What Happened to the Drawing Tool Bar. It's a
explanation of where to find the drawing tools. I would have cut and
pasted it but it contains some graphics.
